Scratch Removal
Scratches on the surface of your
car's paint can generally be removed with either a cleaner wax or a compond. These removable scratches are not the type that break through the surface of your paint. They are scuffs caused by something rubbing your car and leaving behind a scrape or paint.
Common causes: car doors, bumpers, poles, walls, bicycles, bushes, etc...
Overspray Removal
When paint drifts onto your car it is referred to as
overspray. The two most effective methods of removing overspray are:
1. using a solvent
2. using a surface preparation bar
Depending on the type of overspray (water base or oil base), will determine what method of removal will be used. After the overspray has been removed from your paint your vehicle will be waxed.
Fallout Removal
Fallout is pollution. Specifically iron
particals that get embedded into your paints surface. Over time, these
particles begin to rust. Fallout is visable from about 6 inches away (on light color paint). Fallout can also be felt. When your vehicle is clean, gently wipe your hand across the trunk or roof. If fallout is present, your paint will feel gritty. Using a clay surface preparation bar is the most effective method for removing fallout. After we have removed the fallout your vehicle will be waxed.
Tar Removal
Road tar can be removed using a solvent. If taken care of quickly it can be a relatively simple process. However, tar does harden as it dries making it much more difficult to remove. Once you notice you have tar on your vehicle we recomend to have it taken care of right away. After we have removed the tar, your vehicle will be waxed.
Oxidation Removal
Oxidation is caused by oxygen molecules
attaching to your car's paint. This will make your paint look dull, cloudy, or chalky. If left unchecked, oxidized paint can cause damage beyond repair. Oxidation may be removed using a cleaner or compond.
Bird Droppings
This is no laughing matter. Since a birds diet consists of eating berries and seeds, mixing this with their stomach acids, you can only imagine what a missile of this fluid
dropped from the air hundreds of feet up can do to a delicate finish of a car. If you notice any such impacts on your car rinse them off immediately! Otherwise the acid will etch into your paints surface within hours, especially on sunny days.
Tree sap?
This can sometimes be a sticky situation. Tree sap can also etch
the surface of your car's paint ifnot removed promptly! Warm to hot soapy water can remove it when it is fresh and sticky. Vinegar or mineral spirits can also work when hardened.
